Staff at Fishponds CE Primary School work together as a tight team; supporting each other when needed and celebrating the skills and diversity each brings to the school. Staff mobility is low and staff surveys demonstrate how close the team is - referring to themselves as The Fishponds Family. Staff surveys also demonstrate particularly high responses for 'Leaders are considerate about my well-being', 'Leaders do all they can to ensure the school has a motivated, respected and effective teaching staff' and 'I am proud to work at this school'. There is a keen path for dedicated staff to progress through their career, with teaching assistants completing their Initial Teacher Training within the school and oppoptunities for CPD maximised. Staff take opportunities to support eachother's well-being and run groups to bolster this; such as Book Club, Spring Walking Club, Men's Paddle Club, Box-Fit and Quiz Nights.
